About Pinecrest

Residents of Pinecrest in Mission Viejo, California enjoy the panoramic views which make their backyards perfect for entertaining.

The Pinecrest subdivision is comprised of 195 homes and is located in the northern region of the community. Built by Mission Viejo Company, these homes offer 1,375 to 1,939 square feet of living space. There are three to four bedrooms, two to three baths, and two-car garages.

Pinecrest is served by the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. Students attend highly ranked Montevideo Elementary, La Paz Intermediate School, and Trabuco Hills High School. Several private facilities are available like Agape Academy, Mission Montessori Academy, Heritage Christian School, and Carden Academy of Basic Education. There are many higher learning facilities within an hour’s drive and Saddleback College makes its home here.

Mission Viejo has two parks for every square mile and this neighborhood is close to Pinecrest Park which offers picnic tables, sports fields, and a playground. A little further to the south is the Youth Athletic Park which features five baseball fields, three soccer fields, and four batting cages. Some of the fields are lighted and there are 15 picnic tables and two barbecue pits.

Residents of the city also have access to the beaches and water of Lake Mission Viejo. Activities include swimming, boating, paddle boarding, and fishing with this fully stocked lake. Summertime brings fireworks, movie screenings, and concerts. Mission Viejo also has three golf courses of its own.

The Kaleidoscope Courtyards and The Shops at Mission Viejo offer every service, store, and restaurant you could need. Mission Hospital is only minutes away.

Mission Viejo is one of the largest planned communities in the nation and is known for its tree-lined streets, luxury communities, clean air, and low crime.
